The Kershaw Leek offers a stone washed stainless steel appearance with its 410 stainless steel handle and durableSandvik 14C28N stainless steel blade, and is sure to withstand whatever its user can throw at it. Like many other Kershawknives, the Leek 1660 features the SpeedSafe assisted opening system, deploying the blade either by index opening, or thethumb stud. Unlike many other Kershaw knives, the Leek plain edge knife features the safety of a frame lock mechanism, which secures the blade in place inside the frame to prevent the blade moving from the open position during use. This Kershaw pocket knife also features a tip safety lock, which prevents the knife from opening unless released bythe user. The Leek 1660 certainly does a fine job of upholding the standards that have come to be expected from Kershawusers.
Leek 1660 Stainless Plain Edge Knife by Kershaw and Ken Onion Specifications:

Model Number: 1660

Features SpeedSafe Assisted Opening System

Opening Options: Index Opening, Thumb Stud

Features Tip Safety Lock

Proudly Made in the USA

Steel: Sandvik 14C28N Stainless Steel

Handle...410 stainless-steel

Blade Length: 3 in.
